Founded in 2007 in St. Louis, Missouri, Home Works partners with families and teachers to strengthen the bridge between home and school. What began in a handful of classrooms has grown to reach more than 120 early childhood, elementary, middle, and high schools across urban, suburban, and rural districts and charter networks.

Their work is grounded in evidence-based family engagement — practices proven to improve academic and well-being outcomes by building trust and collaboration between families and educators. Home Works equips teachers with the tools, coaching, and support they need to connect meaningfully with parents and caregivers, ensuring that every child benefits from a shared circle of care around their learning.
