About the Brand - Skyline Chess
Skyline Chess is a British design studio founded in 2013 by London architectural designers and chess enthusiasts Chris Prosser and Ian Flood. Inspired by evenings spent playing chess as flatmates, the pair began imagining iconic city skylines as chess pieces—an idea that evolved into their distinctive collection of architectural chess sets.

Combining thoughtful design with exceptional craftsmanship, Skyline Chess transforms famous buildings into beautifully detailed pieces that celebrate both architecture and the timeless game of chess. Each set is made using carefully selected materials, with luxury bronze pieces cast using the ancient lost-wax technique by a family-run foundry in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter.
