Handmade Bookends

A unique, handmade ceramic piece

Bacchus
Bookends that are as strong as your vocabulary. The loop design keeps books sturdy and in place for your reading and viewing pleasure.
Dimensions:7"L x 4.5"W x 6.5"H (per unit)

Fettu
The Fettu's design is inspired by the organic, ribbon-like forms of fettuccine. Wide enough to have a nice bite and substantial enough to maintain its form, the Fettu is equal parts playful and grounding. Rhythmic in form, its sculptural tendencies disguise its function, allowing it to serve as bookends or an art object.
Dimensions:7"L x 7"W x 5.5"H (per unit)

Serra
The Serra bookends' form is inspired by the way pages of an old book rest on a dusty shelf, bending and leaning comfortably. Constructed from a singular slab of stoneware, they fold onto themselves in an effortlessly graceful manner. Their simplicity is what makes them striking, with or without books to support.
Dimensions:6.5"L x 6"W x 6"H (per unit)

About the Brand - SIN
Virginia Sin, the woman behind SIN, is a Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary designer. By 2007, the collection had attracted the attention of Design Within Reach and received “Most Sustainable” in the Modern+Design+Function Competition. Nine years later, in 2016, it was acquired by The New York Historical Society Museum, where it became part of their 20th and 21st century objects collection. Working to continually broaden her design horizons, Virginia has focused her recent attention on redefining ceramic coils, translating her graphic designs into weave structures and challenging the limitations of clay in the lighting industry, in hopes to bring some extra warmth into the world. *Women & BIPOC Owned.
