We are thrilled to be able to share with you the new 2025 harvest! We only just finished picking and pressing these olives a few weeks ago!

Normally you wouldn't see stores selling the fall harvest until the spring or even summer. But we wanted to rush the new harvest straight to you so that you can taste extra virgin olive oil at its peak. This is because not only does extra virgin olive oil taste the best right after being pressed, but its antioxidants and polyphenols are also at their highest levels.

However, that being said, because the olive oil is currently enroute from our farmers in Italy, it will take a bit longer to get to you.

PLEASE NOTE: Your olive oil will arrive in mid-late January. We know it's a bit of a wait, but if you're willing to wait a few weeks, we promise it will be worth it (and you'll be able to taste some of the freshest extra virgin olive oil out there!).

Libellula extra virgin olive oil is grown, pressed, and bottled by our collective of Italian family farmers in the hills just outside Rome.

We came together as a collective because the small-scale family farmers in our area were being forced to abandon their groves due to growing environmental and economic challenges.

As a collective, we are able to support each other, sharing knowledge and resources, alongside being able to plant over 200 new olive trees, restore over 2,200 abandoned olive trees, and convert over 600 olive trees to organic production.

Our 3-month supply of olive oil is a one-time delivery of your choice of three bottles of our best-selling 375ml Olive Oil with one of our signature golden pour spouts.

Classico
Our Classico olives are pressed in November, weeks earlier than the big distributors. This creates an antioxidant-rich and high-polyphenol count of between 350 to 400 mg/kg. Typical extra virgin olive oil only has about 100-150mg/kg.

Flavor Notes: floral & peppery with undertones of apple & artichoke.

Chef-recommended pairings: Salads, fish, daily cooking, hors d'oeuvres

Riserva
Our limited-release, early-harvest extra virgin olive oil, harvested and pressed in early October. Because these olives are picked before full ripeness, the olives’ concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants are at their height, between 500 and 600 mg/kg. But, as the Riserva olives are small, we can only extract a tiny amount of antioxidant-rich olive oil. This is why our quantity of our Riserva is limited each year.

Flavor Notes: bright, herbaceous, spicy, with undertones of walnut.

Chef-recommended pairings: Bruschetta, soups, and red meat
