Our Marea Collection is inspired by the rising and falling tides. Simple stripes take on new life with a gradient pattern.

These blankets, similar to the Tierra Collection, are perfect for park picnics or keeping warm around a campfire. They are big enough for a 2 - 4 person picnic and roll up in thirds for easy transport. The blankets are designed by us at our home base in San Francisco and hand woven in Mexico by skilled artisans. Our leather straps are hand-made by us out of vegetable-tanned leather that ages nicely with use.

Formerly known as Nipomo, Caminito was reimagined in Spring 2022 to reflect a renewed focus on savoring everyday moments—whether lounging on a blanket, sharing laughter, or enjoying the view overhead.

Founded by mother-daughter duo Elizabeth and Liz, the brand operates at the intersection of California and Mexico, celebrating the richness of both regions. Drawing inspiration from the Bay Area’s diverse landscape, Caminito collaborates with skilled artisans to create vibrant, meaningful pieces. Their colorful blankets are woven by a family-run workshop in a historic Mexican artisan city, while leather straps are handcrafted in their San Diego studio.
