Adjustable leather shoulder straps and a handwoven handle offer versatile carrying options, while the vegetable-tanned leather develops a rich patina over time.

• Please note: Basket and leather straps are handmade and colors will vary. Our baskets are made from natural palm fiber, please be gentle with your new bag. Be sure not to put sharp things in them that might poke through the basket and avoid creasing or folding the bag in a way that might damage the fibers.

Caminito, meaning “small wandering path,” is a brand rooted in the appreciation of local craft and life’s simple pleasures. Formerly known as Nipomo, Caminito was reimagined in Spring 2022 to reflect a renewed focus on savoring everyday moments—whether lounging on a blanket, sharing laughter, or enjoying the view overhead.

Founded by mother-daughter duo Elizabeth and Liz, the brand operates at the intersection of California and Mexico, celebrating the richness of both regions.
